Spiegel reports that Stoltenberg answered several questions regarding the supply of arms to Ukraine. In turn, the secretary general of NATO expressed his opinion on Poland’s announced transfer of Leopard tanks to Ukraine. Recall that at the recent Ramstein meeting, no decision on the provision of tanks was made. However, Jens Stoltenberg said that he supported the idea of heavy weapons for the Ukrainian army. Moreover, he considers that this should be done in an exact order so that Ukraine can survive as a sovereign and independent state.
"My message is that the allies must deliver more, more heavy equipment and combat systems to Ukraine. And this is very urgent," said the head of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation.
It should be noted that many military experts and politicians unite in believing that the Russian Federation is likely to relaunch a large-scale offensive. Therefore, Ukraine really needs military support of the modern and heavy type. Support for such a politician as Stoltenberg is critical – his call can help Ukraine to keep its territories and young fighters who do not spare themselves for independence.
