According to him, organic products must appear in school meals. He also stressed that the mechanism of public procurement must be adapted to select such products.
"Switzerland will help in a pilot project, which involves experimenting with this vision in schools. Now the consumption of organic products is increasing in Ukraine," said Wild.
Organic products are considered those products that are produced without the use of advances in the chemical industry, without the use of mineral fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides. It should not have used mineral fertilizers and plant protection products.
The Ambassador added that Switzerland supports the development of the organic sector in Ukraine, in addition, our country is the second largest exporter of organic products to the EU.
Also, Ukraine plans to transfer baby food to European standards.
