The Swiss federal council announces the decision to support Western countries in the application of measures of the 11th package of sanctions against 71 individuals and 33 legal entities of the Russian Federation.
The federal council received a message from the federal Department of economics, education and science, which is also responsible for sanctions, about expanding sanctions measures against Russia. The changes will come into effect from 6 p. m. June 28. Thus, the state will block the assets of Russian citizens and prohibit them from entering its territory, even for transit purposes.
We remind you that the 11th package was designed to cut off the ways that Russia and countries/legal entities/individuals avoided sanctions.
