The Cabinet of Ministers has created the Council for the Development of Creative Economy under the government.
The corresponding decision was taken at the government meeting on May 19.
The Council for the development of the creative economy is a temporary advisory body of the Cabinet of Ministers and was created to study problematic issues of development of creative industries and the formation of the creative economy.
The main tasks of the Council:
- To help coordinate the activities of the executive authorities aimed at developing creative industries and developing the competitive creative product; to prepare proposals for stimulating the development of creative industries;
- To develop mechanisms to enhance the competitiveness of Ukrainian creative product on domestic and foreign markets;
- To improve the rights and interests of economic entities that conduct activities that belong to creative industries;
- To develop direct and flexible cooperation with the creative business entities.
