The Delegation of the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic Arrived in Ukraine

On August 30, a delegation led by the chief of the general staff of the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic, major general Karel Řehka

Representatives of the Czech Republic Armed Forces, headed by the commander-in-chief of the state Army arrived in Ukraine today. According to the commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian Army, Valerii Zaluzhnyi, the visit of Czech colleagues during this dark time is a confirmation of support and solidarity with Ukraine.

"I appreciate the involvement and assistance of the Czech Republic, the effective support of the military, the high level of our military cooperation, as well as the hospitality with which the Czech people met the refugees from Ukraine," Valerii Zaluzhnyi.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, during their visit, representatives of the Czech Armed Forces discussed with Valerii Zaluzhnyi the situation on the front and the border of Ukraine, the probable plans and manoeuvres of the enemy, as well as the situation in the Black sea-Azov area. The group also visited the cities destroyed by the Russian occupation: Gostomel, Chernihiv and Kharkiv.

Major general Karel Řehka said that the example of Ukraine in the war against Russia is an invaluable experience for NATO countries, and the Czech Republic will continue to help Ukraine and its army.
