Deputy prime minister Mykhailo Fedorov announced the beginning of the construction of the school. The building will be built on the territory of the already functioning school in Lviv. However, the school needs to expand due to the increase in the number of students. The Franco-Ukrainian foundation for humanitarian innovation technologies Team4UA, with the support of the International foundation for humanitarian innovation technologies, proposed using 3D printers in building. The printer will allow using less material. For work a necessary team of only 3 people. Construction by the initiative of Team4UA has already started.
According to the project, the new educational building will have a size of 506 m² and a capacity of about 100 persons. The premise will be created for primary scholars. Completion of the construction is planned for January 1, 2023. It is also known that the new school in Lviv will be the first in Europe built with a 3D printer.
"This project is not cheaper than conventional construction, but ten times faster. It is a significant project for the recovery of Ukraine. We plan to open training to teach people in Ukraine to work with these technologies and develop 3D construction in Ukraine. We plan to build cities in Kherson using this technology," the founder of Team4UA, Jean-Christophe Boney.
