On November 18, France approved the decision to provide an external loan through cooperation with the French Development Agency. On December 13, the Ministry of finance of Ukraine announced that Ukraine will receive loans for €100 million on favourable terms.
According to the terms, Ukraine will receive a loan for a period of 15 years, a grace period for deferring the repayment of a debt obligation — of 5.5 years, and an interest rate of 1.04% per annum.
The funds will be used to compensate for the damage caused by the Russian war to the social and humanitarian sphere of Ukraine, as well as to pay off the primary budget requests.
