More communities will receive a subvention for the development of administrative service centres as a result of the government’s decision to reallocate project savings this week.
This was noted by prime minister Denys Shmyhal, who summed up the week on Facebook.
"$510.989 will be allocated for 23 communities administrative service centres construction, equipping and modernization. This means that more people in the regions will benefit from fast and quality public services. A total of $814.057 is allocated for the development of the ASC network this year as a subvention for 188 communities," the head of Government said.
Shmyhal noted that social services would become more convenient and accessible to Ukrainians. This week the ministry of social policy and the ministry of population and development presented a draft Unified social information system, which will integrate all social registers, which will make the payment processing process much easier and faster.
He added that the European Union would help to accelerate regional digital development and increase digital literacy. This week, the ministry of digital transformation signed a memorandum with U-Lead.
"A person may apply for social assistance or a pension without leaving home. The data will be checked automatically, reducing the processing time to a few days. The unified social information system project is already implemented in the pilot regions. From next year, new communities will be involved to it," the prime minister said.
