Today, Croatia's foreign affairs minister, Gordan Grlic Radman, arrived in Ukraine with a diplomatic visit and humanitarian cargo. As the minister personally reported, he and his team visited the city of Gostomel in the Kyiv region and assessed the damage that the Russian war caused to the infrastructure of this city. In cooperation with UNICEF Croatia, the state government purchased 50 generators and handed them to Ukraine. The equipment will be sent to provide energy to the key and most affected civilian objects: schools, hospitals, and the Veselka kindergarten in Gostomel. In addition, minister Radman and Caritas team handed over equipment for the same kindergarten.
Gostomel is the first stop on Gordan Grlic Radman's schedule in Ukraine. Meetings with high officials are expected.
