This was discussed during a meeting between the ambassador of Ukraine to Israel Yevgeniy Korniychuk and the minister of agriculture and rural development of the State of Israel, minister of peripheral development, Negev and Galilee Oded Forer.
Ukraine considers cooperation with Israel in the invest.com/investing-in-ukraine/business-opportunities/agricultural/" rel="dofollow">agricultural sphere as a priority in Ukrainian-Israeli relations.
The parties noted the importance of further implementation of the bilateral intergovernmental agreement on free trade, which came into force on January 1, 2021, to increase trade turnover between the countries in the conditions of the pandemic.
The parties also discussed the prospects for attracting Israeli investments in dairy production and cattle breeding and the possibility of cooperation in the construction and modernization of large dairy farms in Ukraine.
