On the website, Swedish brand of clothing and cosmetics H&M published an announcement of the return to the cities of Ukraine. Recall that many foreign firms, including H&M, left the Ukrainian market because of the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022. The company's website says that in autumn, they will open shops in Ukraine despite the continuation of Russian aggression. Shops will be open in those cities where it is possible and safe.
"The company is in close dialogue with partners and authorities and now plans to gradually reopen most of its stores in the country from November 2023," the official statement said.
In addition, the leadership stated that it was ready to take part in helping Ukraine. H&M will actively cooperate with the state in the country's reconstruction programs and support local organizations in humanitarian assistance.
