According to the press service of the Ощадбанк, the report was approved on April 28 at a meeting of the Cabinet of ministers. The audit company “Ernst & Yang Audit Services” which accompanied the production of the report, has confirmed the profit of Ощадбанк in ₴ 2.78 billion. The Government of Ukraine has already divided profits into three streams:
- ₴ 897 million dividends to the State budget
- ₴ 139 million in the contingency fund
- ₴ 1.8 billion to cover past losses
This is the highest amount of dividends paid by the Bank since its foundation.

I am pleased to note that, despite all the difficulties, the Bank has successfully met these challenges. We managed to ensure the stable functioning of the financial institute and maintain the trust of more than 7 million clients”, — said Sergey Naumov, the chairman of the Board of the State bank.
