To develop the concept of transformation of the IT-education system, an analysis of market needs was conducted on the platform of the center for economic recovery. At the meeting of the working group, the results were presented. More than 150 representatives of the IT industry took part in the survey. More than a hundred profile experts and 33 business associations, IT clusters and companies also joined the discussion of key issues.
Ukraine has great potential to become the most powerful IT hub in central and eastern Europe. Currently, in Ukraine, there is a shortage of highly qualified personnel due to the fact that the level of education lags far behind market demands.
"Digitalization of all spheres of life — new realities of the world. For Ukraine, the IT-sphere is very promising and here the state can do many things: from point adjustment of problematic issues to the systemic transformation of IT education. We are launching a special legal regime for the development of IT companies Diia City, developing an e-residency project, creating a legal framework for the virtual asset market. Now we need to increase the number of IT specialists and take care of quality modern education for the present and future generations," said deputy prime minister - minister of digital transformation Mikhail Fedorov.
