The National Bank of Ukraine’s forecast of nominal wages in 2021 has become more optimistic: compared to the expected 16.6% in January, there is now an increase to 17.8%.
These data indicate that Ukrainians will start getting 8.6% more when inflation is taken into account.
"For workers with the lowest income, the next minimum wage increase will be an additional factor", — noted in the NBU application.
The increase in private consumption (7.5%) was the most important reason for the increase in GDP, the NBU specified.
