Patent images of the new Geely pickup hit the Internet. The model will go into production in the second half of 2022.
The Geely pickup has no name yet: the working title of the model is Geely high-end commercial vehicle SC02. It is known that the car will not be a frame car — it will be built on the Geely Haoyue crossover platform.
The pickup has a rather expressive design with massive bumpers and widened wheel arches. The narrow radiator grille is matched with the slanted headlights.
The model will be offered exclusively in a four-door version, and its length is a little more than 5m. The pickup capacity will be about 700-750kg.
The new Geely will be equipped with a 1.8-liter petrol turbo engine with a capacity of 184 liters and with a maximum torque of 300 N∙m. It is paired with a 7-speed gearbox with two clutches, and the drive can be front or full.
The pickup has every chance to appear in Ukraine because, in 2022, the Geely brand is returning to our market. Moreover, the emphasis will be placed on the cross-country model. Cross-country is an elegant and practical estate with large load compartments and a cabin crafted to explore life.
