According to the government's plan, the Fund must first obtain a license from a financial institution and get a similar status.
Credit guarantees from Fund will be provided for small and medium-sized farms. According to the minister of agrarian policy, Roman Leshchenko, such farms can be those that cultivate up to 500 hectares.
The authorized capital of the Fund is currently registered at about $8 million.
The participants of the Fund can be the state itself, legal entities and international financial organizations.
Today there are 2 types of guarantees:
- Guarantees up to 50% of the outstanding principal amount;
- Guarantees for the term of the loan agreement, but not more than 10 years.
We remind you that the law On the Fund for a partial guarantee of loans in agriculture came into force in November 2021.
