Denys Shmyhal wrote on Twitter about the fact and purpose of his diplomatic journey.
"Friendly Canada. A country among the first to stand by Ukraine. Meetings with Justin Trudeau and Chrystia Freeland are coming up. We are preparing new agreements and deals to strengthen the macro-financial and economic stability of Ukraine. We are working for victory," the PM.
Earlier, the minister said he plans to discuss with Justin Trudeau and his team assistance to Ukraine with heavy military equipment and ammunition.
The official government portal of Ukraine reports that this week Shmyhal will also participate in the Spring Meetings in Washington, organized by the World Bank and the IMF.
