Today, for the first time in the history of our countries, the president of South Korea, Yun Suk Yol and his wife arrived in the capital of Ukraine. Previously, Mr Yun Suk Yeol was in Poland on a diplomatic visit, where with president Duda agreed to help Ukraine. On July 15, in the morning, Yoon Suk Yeol arrived in Kyiv and, accompanied by the prosecutor general of Ukraine, visited Bucha and the memorial to Ukrainians killed by the Russian war.
Now the spouses Suk Yol and the Zelensky spouses met at the presidential residence in the centre of Kyiv. According to Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the primary topic of negotiations will be ensuring a normal and safe life for Ukrainians under international law.
"The return of deported adults and children, the implementation of the Peace formula and the preparation of the Global Peace Summit, food and energy security, and economic cooperation," added Zelensky.
We remind you that South Korea will participate in over 5.000 reconstruction projects in Ukraine worth ≈ $52 billion.
