Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked Jeppe Kofod for the comprehensive support of our state to him, as well as support for Ukraine in its euroaspirations. The President recalled that the Kingdom's embassy had recently restored its work in Kyiv.
“Cooperation between our states must be really dynamic and fruitful,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The president of Ukraine raised arms aid and stressed that Denmark has done and continues to do a lot for Ukraine. He emphasized that Ukraine now needs maximum defense assistance. A separate topic of conversation was investing in Ukraine to restore and strengthen its economy: Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked the representative of Denmark for the absolute readiness of his state to assist Ukraine with all available tools.
At a meeting between the prime minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal, and Jeppe Kofod, it became known that Denmark was ready to take part in the restoration of post-war Mykolaiv. The state of Denmark will soon transfer equipment to Ukraine to clear and reconstruct the city's infrastructure.
It is essential that Denmark is in solidarity with Ukraine and Europe on the issue of involving Putin and every person or organization involved in the war against Ukraine. The parties agreed on further cooperation and development.
