The Russian army has imposed martial law in the occupied part of the Kharkiv region. Now people are forbidden to leave their houses from 8 pm to 6 a. m. It is also reported that the occupation authorities plan to mobilize — to send Ukrainian men in Russian uniform to the war against Ukraine. All this became known on July 8 after a meeting of the illegitimate military-civil administration of the Kharkiv region, which was created by the Russian occupiers.
"In order to ensure public order and state security, the head of the military city administration of the Kharkiv region introduced martial law in the territory," the occupation authorities reported.
The illegal administrator of the occupied territories in the Kharkiv region Vitalii Hanchev also explained the introduction of martial law by the risks of infiltration of Ukrainian sabotage and intelligence groups. Several media outlets noted that the situation in the occupied territories was tense.
Also, the Russian invaders are actively distributing the "new" coat of arms of the Kharkiv region, which unites Ukrainian territories with Russia.
