The Second World Army Goes To Ukrainian Currency

The occupiers choose strawberry picking as a part-time job in the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region

The TV news service of the Ukrainian channel 1+1 reported that Russian soldiers work in Ukrainian gardens. Journalists refer to the report of the south operations command.

Russian soldiers occupied the Kherson region in the spring. Since the "special operation" did not end in a few weeks, the occupiers are looking for a home and a job to live in the Ukrainian city. Even though the occupation authorities are trying to introduce currency and passports of the Russian Federation, the soldiers are ready to receive salaries in Ukrainian currency.

So it became known that several Russian soldiers agreed to collect strawberries in the gardens of Ukrainians and get for it 50 hryvnias (about $1.70) per hour. Logistical problems in the aggressor country and the occupier’s desire to survive in a foreign country are considered to be the reason for such events.

"Residents say that rasha-gastarbeiters behave normally, work well," said the operational command of the South.

However, it should be noted that not all Russian soldiers only obeyed orders. According to the presidential office adviser, Oleksii Arestovych at the moment information about brutal crimes in the occupied territory of the Kherson region is being verified. Oleksii Arestovych doesn’t give out the details but says that the Russian soldiers may have arranged a "little Bucha" in the Kherson region.
