The United States plans to provide $ 155 million to support Ukraine's economy and development

The United States, through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), plans to provide an additional $ 155 million in economic development assistance to Ukraine.

Additional resources will be used this year to address a number of key issues in various areas of Ukraine's development, including:
- Supporting the growth of the country's economy and improving the health of Ukrainians - 34 million dollars
- Improving anti-corruption measures - $ 14 million dollars
- Countering Russian aggression - 63 million dollars dollars
- Strengthening democracy and governance - 44 million dollars

During the years of independence, relations with the United States were characterized by instability, but clearly there is a tendency to revive bilateral economic relations between Ukraine and the USA.

This is primarily due to the political events in Ukraine and the change in its foreign policy priorities. Significantly increased foreign trade turnover between the two countries, investment processes and interregional cooperation intensified. Strengthening trade and economic cooperation between the United States and Ukraine help maintain economic growth and integration intentions of our state. Therefore, the question of considering the current state is relevant.

Ukraine's foreign trade relations with the United States, features of commodity and geographical structure bilateral trade, the presence of problematic situations in trade in goods and services between the two countries.

The governments of Ukraine and the United States remain determined to pursue Ukraine's Euro-Atlantic aspirations and further joint action in support of its people.
