The companies Northrop Grumman Systems and Global Military Products received an order from the United States to produce combat shells for the Ukrainian army. The total amount of contracts is $522 million. The first shells should arrive in Ukraine already in March.
Previously, NATO representatives made public information that the war currently taking place against Ukraine on the territory of Ukraine is ten times more intense than the war in Afghanistan. If there are about 300 shots per day in Argentina, Ukraine has to repel more than a thousand, plus missiles and drones. For example, the US can produce 14.000 howitzer shells per month. And Ukraine uses the same amount in 2 days.
Earlier, France and Australia decided to manufacture howitzer ammunition for Ukraine jointly, and with the same goal, Germany plans to increase the number of production lines of Rheinmetall ammunition.
