The mechanism of the Army of recovery appeared in Ukraine. The Ьinistry of the economy created this program for the reconstruction and support of the country in all its cuts. Unemployed Ukrainians will take part in the program. For their work, they will receive their experience and salary. In the current year, the salary is $181.37.
"Today we have 2 armed forces: 1 protects the country on the front, the other works. People who, for various reasons, have remained unemployed will be able to join the Army of recovery of the country, and the state will pay their workers at the level of minimum wages," said minister of economy Yuliia Svyrydenko.
Regional military administrations and executive authorities are the organizers of the work. They can offer Ukrainians the following types of work:
- Creation and reinforcement of block-posts; blocking of trenches;
- Preparation of cross for military and population;
- Assistance in the cleaning of landfills and restoration of objects damaged during combat operations;
- Strengthening of dams;
- Maintenance of roads;
- Unloading humanitarian aid;
- Installation of the basement and covering;
- Assistance to internally displaced persons and people with disabilities.
Currently, the unemployment support program works in Sumy and Chernihiv regions. Thus, almost 500 Ukrainians could work and earn money and help the country.
