Turkish Fighters on Ukrainian Engines

"Baykar" successfully tested the new "Bayraktar Kizilelma" equipped with a Ukrainian engine

Cooperation between Baykar and the Ukrainian engineering and design bureau began long before the start of a full-scale war. Now cooperation has only intensified, and shortly, Baykar will launch the construction of its own plant in the Kyiv region of Ukraine. In the meantime, Ukraine continues to develop and integrate its engines into drones and Bayraktar fighters.

The latest fighter Bayraktar Kizilelma assembled with the AI-25TLT turbojet engine manufactured by Motor Sich was tested in Turkey yesterday. The tests were successful, and the first flight is scheduled for 2023.

Characteristics: load capacity - 1.500 kg, takeoff weight — 6.000 kg, manoeuvring in the air without refuelling — 5 hours. The construction of the landing ship TCG Anadolu (L-400), on which all Bayraktar drones will land and take off, has already begun.

We remind you that Haluk Bayraktar said that his drones will never, under any circumstances, be sold to Russia.
