UA Programmers Developed an App That Allows Civilians to Shoot Down RU Weapons

The application allows users to report missiles and other air attacks to Air Defence Forces

A group of programmers from Odesa Technicians have developed an eAirDefence application for the civilian population of Ukraine. The problem with air defence systems is that they do not respond to missiles flying at low altitudes. This leads to tragedy, destruction and death among the civilian population. The eAirDefence application eliminates this problem.

"By installing eAirDefence on a smartphone, every citizen of Ukraine who sees an air target will be able to press the big red button on the smartphone screen and in a few seconds, the monitors of the brigade, division and Air Defence battery commanders will see marks about the detection of orc (Russian — ed.) drones and cruise missiles in our near and far rear. The next officer of the Air Defense command post, based on information from the Radiotechnical Troops of Ukraine and from ground observers, will issue a quick and accurate order to the anti-aircraft gunners. And the Russian missile will be shot down," Gennady Sulgin, one of the developers of the application.

The eAirDefence application has already been approved by Operational Command South and the Ministry of digital transformation. Now there is a period of implementation of eAirDefence in Diia.
