On June 1, London sent a request to the United States for the transfer of M270 multiple launch rocket systems to Ukraine. It is known that Boris Johnson, Liz Truss, Ben Wallace, and Joe Biden collaborated on the transfer of new military equipment to Ukraine. And on June 2, the United States confirmed the transfer of rocket launchers of its production through the UK.
"The UK stands by Ukraine and has taken the lead in supplying its heroic troops with the vital weapons they need to defend their country," British defense secretary Ben Wallace.
It is known that the weapons will arrive in Ukraine within a few weeks. Also, the relevant departments will train Ukrainian soldiers to work with the M270.
"As Russia's tactics change, so should our support for Ukraine. These high-performance multiple launch rocket systems will enable our Ukrainian friends to better defend themselves against Russia's brutal use of long-range artillery that Putin's forces have used indiscriminately to destroy cities," Ben Wallace.
It is known that this high mobility artillery rocket system is capable of reaching targets at a distance of up to 80 km, which will "significantly increase the capabilities of Ukrainian forces."
