Poltava car mechanics have launched the production of cars for riding in extreme conditions. The Tornado is capable of climbing 1-meter-high barriers and swimming on the water. The manufacturer said that the plant has already produced two such machines, they were equipped with an economical 2.4-litre turbodiesel. In the water, the car speeds up to 6 km/h. On the road with any surface, the maximum speed of the Tornado is 45 km/h. It is noted that the volume of the fuel tank is 160 litres. At the same time, the fuel consumption is about 4-5 litres per hour.
The machine is manoeuvrable and easy to turn and rebuild. Also, the Ukrainian all-terrain car can be equipped with a bucket or trailer. The Tornado is capable of carrying up to a ton of cargo or 7 passengers with luggage. At the same time, the cabin can be equipped with three beds.
The developers believe that the rover can be useful for military, agricultural enterprises, or government emergency services.
