The Government of Ukraine has approved a budget of 186 million hryvnias for the implementation of 22 scientific and technical development projects aimed at addressing key state priorities

These projects will focus on national security, energy, digitalization, agriculture, ecological restoration, and medical technologies, according to the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

The allocated funds will be distributed over two years to support innovative solutions and advanced technologies in the following areas:

    • 11 projects will strengthen national security through cutting-edge technologies.

    • 1 project will focus on developing hydrogen fuel technologies, contributing to sustainable energy solutions.

    • 1 project will address the impact of hostilities on agricultural land, focusing on sustainable production.
  5. Ecological Restoration

    • 1 project will tackle the aftermath of environmental disasters, specifically restoration efforts following the destruction of the Kakhovka HPP and reservoir.
  6. Medical Innovations

    • 3 projects will develop advanced methods for cancer treatment and diagnosis, as well as rehabilitation medicine using artificial intelligence.
