Among others, the meeting was attended by leaders of such international Danish companies as A.P. Moller Maersk (container transport), Vestas (wind turbine production), Novo-Nordisk (pharmaceuticals).
The minister for foreign affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, informed the Danish business in detail about the implementation of a number of important reforms in Ukraine and the positive dynamics of economic indicators. He assured us that there are no reasons to reduce or curtail investment projects in our country today, as the security situation remains under control.
The minister noted a significant increase in bilateral trade between Ukraine and Denmark in recent years, despite the harmful effects of the pandemic.
"The president of Ukraine and the Ukrainian government are ready to continue active work to improve the investment climate in Ukraine and create new opportunities for Ukrainian and foreign business, new jobs for citizens," said Dmytro Kuleba.
In this context, he gave the example of the decision of the Danish designer furniture designer furniture Hjort Knudsen to build a modern enterprise to produce designer furniture near Rivne with a total cost of more than €12 million. This project will create about 1.000 new jobs.
Dmytro Kuleba presented Ukraine's great investment opportunities, particularly in infrastructure, shipbuilding, food industry, agriculture, IT services, renewable energy, energy efficiency, and aerospace.
