Ukrainian minister of digital transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov announced the beginning of new international cooperation. This time Ukraine is supported by a multinational company Microsoft. The organization will help Ukrainian special services to keep records and document war crimes of the Russian army.
The agreement was reached through the World economic forum in Davos, which began on 22 May. Mykhailo Fedorov met with Microsoft president Brad Smith, where they struck a deal. Also, influential persons agreed to strengthen cooperation between Ukraine and Microsoft.
Note that the company has been positively disposed to cooperate with Ukraine for a long time. The management of the organization supported Ukraine immediately after the start of the war. Microsoft suspended new sales of services in the aggressor country. Ukrainians received free cloud services until the end of 2022.
Now an international company will help to document and reliably store all data obtained during the war. Brad Smith also says that he is ready to assist in the reconstruction of the country after the war.
Also, Microsoft has already announced the launch of Xbox in Ukraine. Now people will be able to create Ukrainian accounts and choose Ukrainian for the game.
Recall that the president of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy addressed the conference in Davos via video link. He called on businessmen and leaders of all countries to stop doing business with the Russian Federation.
