Ukraine and NATO to Build an Ammunition Plant

The State arms enterprise "Ukroboronprom" and one of the countries of the Alliance signed an agreement on the construction of a NATO-standard ammunition plant

The state enterprise of Ukraine, engaged in the development, production and repair of weapons and heavy military equipment Ukraiooboron prom, signed an agreement with one of the NATO countries for the production of ammunition according to NATO standards. This agreement will give Ukraine another advantage on the battlefield against Russia. This is the second defence enterprise in which the Ukrainian Ukroboronprom and a NATO member state participate.

In the conditions of war, Ukroboronprom works in forced terms and critical conditions. On February 24, 2022, the enterprise received 5 times more orders from the state for production, modernization and restoration of military equipment than in the whole of 2021. According to official information from Ukroboronprom, some types of equipment went through the "battle-repair" cycle up to 5 times and returned to the front again.

Specialist engineers of Ukroboronprom work around the clock and on the road: bringing damaged equipment to combat readiness is necessary directly at the front. Restoration of Ukrainian, foreign and Soviet equipment is the competence of the concern.

This year, one of the divisions of Ukroboronprom received UN accreditation for demining the territories of Ukraine and founded its own Center for humanitarian demining. This is the 3rd state-owned enterprise in Ukraine that is engaged in demining the country's occupied territories. We remind you that in Ukraine, foreign companies and robots are also working on demining.
