About JATEC
The NATO-Ukraine Joint Analysis, Training and Education Center (JATEC) is the first civil-military organization jointly managed by NATO and Ukraine. Its main mission is to analyze battlefield lessons learned and strengthen Ukraine’s defense sector by promoting full interoperability with NATO forces.
JATEC plays a key role in supporting Ukraine’s transformation toward Alliance standards and enhancing total defense capabilities.
Background
In the first three months of 2025 alone, NATO member states pledged over €20 billion in security assistance to Ukraine. JATEC's work is part of the broader NATO-Ukraine cooperation framework aimed at ensuring long-term peace and security in Europe.
