Ukrainian communities prepare more than 530 recovery investment projects

The portfolio for URC-2026 covers logistics, housing, municipal infrastructure, energy resilience and AI planning

Ukrainian communities and regions will present more than 530 investment projects at the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2026 in Gdansk. The portfolio is designed to show partners not only needs, but also prepared directions for reconstruction and long-term development.

The Ministry for Communities and Territories plans to bring projects from local and regional authorities, as well as the first full portfolio of public-private partnership opportunities. The focus includes transport, logistics, housing and municipal infrastructure.

What will be shown to partners

Key areas include logistics corridors linked to the European TEN-T network, border infrastructure, Solidarity Lanes, port concessions and modernization, international routes and modern freight-flow control systems.

Housing will also be part of the agenda. Support tools already include eVidnovlennia, housing certificates, social housing and affordable mortgage instruments used by hundreds of thousands of families.

A separate signal is digital planning. Ukraine plans to present the Rebuild Ukraine Intelligence Platform, an AI-based tool that combines more than forty databases, international methodologies and EU rules to model territorial development scenarios much faster than traditional design institutions.

The recovery agenda is moving from separate repairs to investment portfolios that can be discussed with banks, cities and private operators.

The practical test will be whether these projects have clear owners, transparent financing models and enough preparation to survive due diligence.
