Ukrainian engineers, united in a volunteer corps, begin to build a small cruise missile. According to the project, the Trembita rocket will have a pulsating jet engine and a range of attack of at least 140 km. Such a device will work on gasoline. PARS claims that the rocket is easy to design and assemble. Therefore, the production of parts is planned to be deployed throughout Ukraine. Moreover, the volunteers claim that Trembita is not expensive but capable of striking behind enemy lines, including destroying air defence systems. For this purpose, according to the calculation of the project, the missile will have:
- Tank weight: 100 kg;
- Combat unit weight: 20 kg;
The warhead can carry a thermobaric charge or a combined charge detonating.
- Range: over 140 km;
- Speed: over 400 km/h;
- Maximum flight height: 2000m;
- Minimum flight height: 30 m;
- Gas tank capacity: 30 litres.
"O"r simple missile is incomparably cheaper than enemy surface-to-air missiles," project engineers say.
Also, the developers say all missiles will be transferred to the defenders. The development of the country's вуfense industry, even with foreign support, allows it to have a cushion and to resist the aggressor in case of a shortage of ammunition. Ukrainian volunteers of various specialities are a reliable basis for the armed forces of Ukraine for more than a year.
