This is reported by BILD. According to mod Boris Pistorius, a new €400 million aid package is needed to help Ukraine resist the war of Russia. Boris Pistorius said that the defence package will include:
- Explosive, mortar and reactive ammunition;
"Ammunition is what Ukraine needs most to defend itself from a brutal war of conquest," Pistorius explained.
- Armoured vehicles;
- Systems for mine clearance;
- Military clothing for the winter season;
- Generators.
Germany remains a leader in humanitarian and military support to Ukraine. In early September, Berlin sent a shipment of ammunition for the Gepard self-propelled anti-aircraft guns to Kyiv.
"It is the responsibility of the entire federal government to weigh every arms shipment very carefully. It is necessary to clarify various political, legal, military and technical aspects," Boris Pistorius.
