Market Access Achievement
Ukraine has officially secured the right to export sunflower seeds for sowing to the Argentine Republic, marking a significant expansion of its agricultural trade geography.
This became possible after phytosanitary requirements were aligned between Ukraine’s State Service for Food and Consumer Protection and Argentina’s National Service for Health Protection and Quality of Agro-Food Products, with diplomatic support from:
-
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine
-
The Embassy of Ukraine in Argentina

Other Ukrainian diplomatic institutions
Export Conditions

Shipments must meet specific phytosanitary standards
-
Compliance will be verified through an additional declaration in the phytosanitary certificate
-
Only seeds for sowing are covered under the new export agreement
