Ukraine has increased coal imports by 20% since the beginning of the year.
In January-April 2021, Ukraine increased imports of hard coal and anthracite by 20.5% (1.2 million tons) compared to the same period in 2020 - up to 7.04 million tons.
In monetary terms, Ukraine imported $ 655.92 million worth of coal, which is 4.5% more than in January-April 2020 ($ 627.78 million), according to data from the State Customs Service.
Coal exports for four months of 2021 amounted to 0.2 thousand tons for $ 0.03 million, including to Hungary - by $ 0.011 million, Belarus - by $ 0.007 million, Bulgaria - by $ 0.007 million.
