“During my visit, the focus of my attention is negotiations on increasing Ukrainian exports of meat and livestock products to Georgia,” said Vladislava Magaletskaya, head of the State Food and Consumer Service.
In addition to meat, among food products in terms of exports to Georgia in January-April 2021, milk and dairy products, poultry eggs, and natural honey were also leaders. According to the State Food Service, the export of fats and oils of animal and vegetable origin, as well as cocoa has also increased.
For many years now, Ukraine and Georgia have been pursuing an active international partnership. According to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, in January-March 2021, the volume of trade in goods and services amounted to $ 147,9 million, an increase compared to the corresponding period last year by 4,1%.
