On March 25, during a briefing, the prime minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal, announced that Ukraine had begun planting bread and vegetables despite the war.
What is special about this year:
- Sowing has already started in 11 regions of Ukraine. It had not yet begun at the same time last year;
- We are infinitely grateful to our farmers and all those who work in the fields today to provide the country with food;
- For its part, the government will provide interest-free financing to farmers and help reduce fuel prices.
