Ukraine Launched Electricity Export to Slovakia

As of April 17, Ukrainian electricity reserves cover consumer demand and planned export

The press service of the national energy company of Ukraine Ukrenergo reported that on April 17, our country started exporting electricity to Slovakia. Capacity 200 MW/hour. Electricity import 2-4 MW per hour.

The electricity reserve also allows the export of electricity to these countries:

  • Poland 75 MW/hour;
  • Moldova 99-134 MW/hour.

"The difficult situation with energy supply remains along the front line. Yesterday, as a result of damage to networks by Russian shelling, Kherson and part of the region were temporarily cut off. Energy workers promptly restored power supply," Ukrenergo.

We remind you that Ukraine and Germany have signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of energy.
