Ukraine Localizes Production of Components for Croatian Demining Machines DOK-ING

The Ukrainian company A3tech-Ukraine has successfully commenced the production of parts for demining machines manufactured by the Croatian firm DOK-ING, achieving a localization rate of over 10%, as reported by the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine

Deputy Minister of Economy Ihor Bezkaravayny highlighted that the first locally produced DOK-ING machine underwent testing in Ukraine during the spring. The ability to produce parts domestically has enabled the rapid repair of several MV-4 and MV-10 machines. Notably, following an explosion in the fields, the comprehensive repair of a light MV-4 machine was completed in just 12 days, a process significantly expedited compared to waiting for components from Croatia.

In the current year, A3tech-Ukraine, Ukraine's partner in the DOK-ING collaboration, has assembled 8 heavy MV-10 machines and repaired 10 units of equipment. These achievements have facilitated the swift return of sappers to operational duty with the restored machinery.

This localization effort not only enhances the efficiency and responsiveness of Ukraine's demining operations but also strengthens the country's industrial capabilities and reduces dependence on foreign suppliers.
