Ukraine Opens New Markets in the USA

Representative of the State Food and Consumer Service of Ukraine Vladislava Magaletskaya and the agriculture attaché of the US Embassy Liza Akhramdzhan met to discuss the import of Ukrainian products

The State Food and Consumer Service and the US agency are working to open the market for Ukrainian products, in particular poultry meat.

According to the State Food and Consumer Service of Ukraine, in the process of discussing issues, mutual access of products to the Ukrainian markets was discussed by the chairman of the State Food and Consumer Service Vladyslava Magaletska and the Agriculture Attaché of the US Embassy Liza Akhramdzhan.

“The US market is very interesting for Ukrainian producers. The opening of the markets of such countries provides new opportunities for business development — these are new production facilities, investments in new technologies, and new jobs. All this has a positive effect on the domestic Ukrainian market and Ukrainian consumers. Therefore, the more we have a sales market, the more stable and protected the domestic investing-in-ukraine/business-opportunities/agricultural/" rel="dofollow">agricultural sector will be,” noted Vladyslava Magaletska.

It is worth noting that 18 international veterinary certificates for the import of products to Ukraine have already been agreed upon. Among the products that the United States imports to Ukraine are poultry, milk and dairy products, fish and aquaculture products, pet food, beef, and some other goods.

The American side expressed interest in expanding international partnerships with Ukraine to carry out import operations.
