Ukraine Receives €4.1 Billion Under the Ukraine Facility

Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced that Ukraine has received another €4.1 billion from the European Union through the Ukraine Facility support program

He shared this update via his Telegram channel.

“This is the second scheduled payment provided by the European Commission as part of this instrument. The next tranche is the result of Ukraine fulfilling all the conditions outlined in the Ukraine Plan,” Shmyhal stated.

The prime minister also noted that this year’s total financial assistance under the Ukraine Facility initiative has reached €16.1 billion. Overall, the program, which runs from 2024 to 2027, envisions providing up to €50 billion in financial support to Ukraine.

Last week, the United States also announced an allocation of €20 billion in financial aid to Ukraine.
