Ukraine Returned Home More 31 Children
On that basis, a mission Save Ukraine was established to deal with the problems of forcibly deported children. As part of the rescue operation, 18 children have already returned home for 4 missions. On 8 April, the 5th mission was successfully finished – 31 children were returned home, to Ukraine. This was announced by foreign minister Dmytro Kuleba. Children in the capital of Ukraine met by the relevant authorities and parents.
The minister also said that Moscow has made changes to the return of children to their homeland: Russian invaders are increasing the number of necessary documents and interrogations of parents of children abducted from the occupied territories. But also, criminals started putting more children on return lists. Kuleba reports that such changes began after the International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for Vladimir Putin and the Russian commissioner for children's rights, Maria Lvova-Belova. Recall that the court in Hague will take place precisely from the case of children whom Russian soldiers under the leadership of the Kremlin were taken out of Ukraine.
"They realised that every child returned is irrefutable proof of their crimes," Kuleba said.
However, almost 50 children returned by the mission is such a small figure against the background of the official data – 20.000 children.
