Ukraine has launched serial production of specialized milk tanker trucks, and the first batch of nine AVTR vehicles has already been delivered to a customer. The tank bodies are mounted on medium-duty truck chassis and are designed for daily collection and transport of raw milk from farms to processing plants.
The project matters because demand for food-grade specialized transport continues to grow in Ukraine. Dairy processors, farms and agricultural holdings need vehicles that can protect product quality, keep temperature stable and meet sanitary requirements during frequent short-haul and regional routes.
Food logistics and local manufacturing
The inner tanks are made from food-grade stainless steel that can withstand regular sanitary treatment. The design includes thermal insulation, sealed hatches, closed washing systems and fast loading and unloading equipment.
The producer says the manufacturing cycle covers engineering, three-dimensional design, welding checks, leak testing and final inspection. That allows tanker bodies to be adapted to different chassis while keeping weight distribution and operational reliability under control.
The launch strengthens Ukraine’s specialized vehicle manufacturing and reduces dependence on imported solutions. For the dairy sector, local production can also shorten delivery times for new equipment and make fleet renewal more accessible.
