Ukraine to Launch Program for Training Agricultural Attachés

Future diplomats will represent Ukrainian agribusiness abroad with specialized training in global agriculture and trade

Ukraine is preparing to train a new generation of agricultural attachés to promote national agribusiness interests internationally. The National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine (NUBiP), together with the Diplomatic Academy and foreign partners, is developing a specialized program for this purpose.

Rector Vadym Tkachuk emphasized that graduates of the future program will be well-versed in global agricultural trends and ready to work at Ukrainian embassies and trade missions.

“They will understand what is happening in world agribusiness and represent Ukraine’s agricultural sector effectively abroad,” Tkachuk said.

As part of its internationalization, NUBiP already offers nearly 300 courses taught in English, increasing accessibility and preparing students for diplomatic and global trade roles. The initiative aims to support Ukraine’s integration into global food markets and align with its strategic export goals.
