The bridge will connect the Ukrainian road T-02-02 Mogilev-Podolsky — Yampol — Bershad — Uman and Moldavian M-2.
The construction of the bridge is planned near Yampol (Ukraine) and Koseuts (Moldova). Ukraine will finance the project.
For the construction of the bridge to Moldova, the design-build model was chosen. In addition to the construction work, the contractor that wins the tender will also produce the design documentation.
In addition to the bridge, approaches will also be built from both Ukraine (1.6 km) and Moldova (5 km).
The potential bridge, which is located at the checkpoint "Mogilev-Podolsky - Otaci", will become the largest conjunction between Ukraine and Moldova.
