On August 23, the prime minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal, recalled that in June, Ukraine managed to abolish quotas and duties on the export of domestic goods, which indicates a qualitative level of adaptation to the European consumer and document flow. In July, the visa-free transport regime began to work. According to the minister for European integration of Ukraine, Olha Stefanyshina, Ukraine has fulfilled 70% of its obligations to join the European Union.
"Until the end of the year, a "customs visa-free" will be introduced. Then industrial and digital. European integration work did not stop for a day. And by the end of 2024, we plan to be fully ready to join the European Union. This is our value and civilizational path," Denys Shmyhal.
It is expected that by the end of this year, Ukraine plans to submit an interim report on the positive transformation of the state and plans to find out the timing of integration into the European Union.
