Ukraine will receive more than 2.5 billion investments from international organizations to fight the pandemic and its consequences

The International Bank of reconstruction allocated ₴ 2.5 billion and ₴25 million to UNDP

Deputy Minister of health Svetlana Shatalova informed about technical support of world giants within the framework of the Ukrainian project “Emergency response to COVID-19 and vaccination in Ukraine”.

The proceeds are allocated to the purchase of vaccines against Covid-19 (approximately  ₴  840 million), refrigerators and equipment for sequencing virus strains, logistics, and a webinar for safe waste management.

A further  ₴  25 million has been allocated to four social projects:

  • Development and launch of digital technology for tracking coronavirus patients
  • COVID-19 dissemination operational prediction module optimization
  • Development and dissemination of educational materials for health workers on the management of medical waste
  • Informing the unprotected population about ways to resist the coronavirus

The treaty will remain in force until 2024.
